As a staff we are dedicated to providing a quality education for your child, within the best possible learning environment. We are constantly reviewing our learning environment to identify and remove barriers to effective learning.

All classrooms are well resourced and the work of our teachers is supported by an excellent back up of administration and support staff. We have teacher aides working alongside teachers and assisting students with special needs.

To support the work of staff we have a spacious library with an information technology suite included, a cultural room which is used for maori, music, drama and other specialist programmes and a dedicated literacy suite.

Our school enjoys a very positive image in our community and beyond.

Education is not solely the responsibility of the school. It is a three way partnership between school, home and the student, all of whom must be committed to the task. Ultimately, most responsibility lies with the child.

Your child is unique. It is vitally important that you take an interest in what happens at school, try to become involved in events and perhaps help us with special projects we undertake for the benefit of students (yours included). Lots of exciting things happen here and your child will get a great deal of pleasure from seeing you at school events. Parents are encouraged to spend time alongside students at any time.
