Tuaropaki Trust and Mokai Hydroponics Unit & Marty’s Micro Greens

As part of our planning to build our own Aquaponics Garden Unit a group of students and adults visited local businesses Tuaropaki Trust and Mokai Hydroponics Unit & Marty’s Micro Greens. Thirteen students, supervised by Ms Fitzsimmons, Amanda Jones (Enviroschools) and Sarah Estrich (engineer), spent a fascinating day talking with Rob (Mokai) and Marty about their set-ups. Students asked some really interesting questions and we all learnt a lot. We appreciate these people taking the time to share their knowledge with us.
