Newsletter Week 10 Term 3 2015

Our wonderful students have been busy again. Rose and Myles have produced an award winning video to celebrate Chinese Language week. They are off to Wellington to be chaperoned around Te Papa and Weta Workshop in the near future as part of their prize. Their video can be found at in our video section or at Look out for their article in the Taupo Times.

The end of the term is fast approaching. As one of the first schools to be supported by KidsCan we are hosting a mufti day tomorrow. This is just a gold coin donation that we will forward to KidsCan. They have also been such a great support to the school providing bread, fruit pots and the black rain jackets that our children wear. Students can dress up in red if they like or black to support our All Blacks team or a mixture of both. Please send the gold coin to the classroom teachers.

As the newsletter will be produced bi-weekly from the start of Term 4 as a trial here are the dates for the newsletter publication.

I do hope you have a restful and relaxing term break and that we can finally get rid of the bugs that have been around. I know staff are looking forward to a rest before the start of what is always our busiest term. Our school production will make a great midterm event to look forward to and will occur just after our annual Pet Day.

See you all next term.
