What do you do with old tree stumps?

The Enviro Group have added an interesting twist to the 4 R’s - Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, Refuse

Four years ago a large number of big trees were cut down at the top of our Gully. Some of the stumps have now rotted in the centres so we decided these would make great planters.

We filled the cavities with soil and mulch, harvested some small grasses we have growing around the school and planted these into our new planters.

They look amazing.
